Sarah Huskey, LMT
Sarah attended Framingham State College and earned a degree in Communications. After graduating from college, Sarah worked for the Massachusetts House of Representatives as a legislative aide and a travel consultant in the educational travel industry, but always had an interest in massage therapy.
It wasn’t until experiencing chronic neck and shoulder pain on top of an old injury that she saw the benefits of massage and bodywork and decided to pursue massage therapy as a career. She completed her massage studies at Palmer Institute of Massage and Body Work in 2006 and also complete John Barnes Myofascial Release 1 in June of 2015 and Myofascial Skill Enhancement Seminar with John Barnes in April 2016.
In February of 2011 Sarah was experiencing some chronic pain after the birth of her son and went to Nicole Russo, owner of Skin to Soul Self Improvement Center, for treatment. After her second appointment as a client, Nicole asked her if she would be interested in joining her practice. From there Sarah’s passion for helping people achieve and maintain a pain free lifestyle grew into a further interest in pursuing Myofascial Release. After receiving several treatments from Nicole and fellow colleagues, Sarah was hooked on John Barnes Myofascial Release and felt the urge to give her clients the same benefits she had received.
Sarah believes that everyone should have an opportunity to live a pain free, healthy and productive life. With Myofascial Release she has helped clients reduce pain and, whether it is from a 12 hour a day desk job or excessive physical activity. She also encourages clients to self-treat in-between sessions as it is needed both mentally and physically in order to heal.
Sarah enjoys meeting new people, trying new food and travel. She has traveled through Europe, China and Thailand. When she is not working, she spends her time with family; her husband and son. They enjoy being in the outdoors, camping in their pop up camper and going to the beach.
